I was watching TV the other day - a common occurrence - when Tempestt Bledsoe came on screen.  She’s on Celebrity Fit Club  and was doing some runway shoot or another.  What astounded me was how rapidly I recognized her after years of her being off the radar.  Is it just my mind that has a huge vault of celebrity names and faces in it?  I don’t think so.  And just how big is that vault?  Well, I came up with a way to find out.

The news is out: Jessica Alba has posed for Playboy. This isn’t just big news in the places you would expect it. Oh, no. The Jessica Alba in Playboy story has made the news all the way to India. Not once, not twice, but at least three times. Good grief. Celebrity news is getting outsourced faster than a call center. But that’s not the real story here.

The whole stink about Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston has gone global.  Angelina Jolie was reportedly approached in a Berlin restaurant by a woman screaming “Where is that home-wrecking Angelina?”  That’s Berlin, Germany, not Berlin, Wisconsin for those of you keeping score at home.  It’s the sort of thing I’d expect to see in the USA, but what’s even stranger is where the news was reported.

I’m really glad I was never a child star.  There’s the wonderful time as a child when everyone seems to love you, followed by a show cancelation or worse, puberty.  Suddenly, the whole bottom falls out and you’re left self medicating.
